Faith & welcome · Camp Warner

A place to gather.
A little room
to breathe.

A Christian-rooted camp for time with God, time with one another, and a change of pace in the desert.

Welcome to Camp Warner

Faith feels closer
when life slows down.

Some conversations need a little more time. Some days need a little more space.

Camp Warner is a place to step outside the everyday routine and be present with the people around you. Its Christian roots give the camp a purpose: room for prayer, fellowship, rest, and the simple joy of being together.

A stay here can mean a church retreat, a youth-group camping trip, time away with your family, or a quiet visit with friends. You bring the reason for coming. The open desert, tent sites, and shared gathering spaces give you a setting for it.

There is no need to fit every hour into a program. A meal at the table, a game outdoors, or a conversation under the evening sky can be part of the experience too.

Simple words to carry with you

Rest. Kindness.
Room for questions.

Faith can begin with a short reading and an honest conversation. These New Testament words offer a place to start.

01 · Rest

Take a breath.

“Come away into a deserted place, and rest awhile.”
Mark 6:31 · World English Bible ↗

Life gets busy. A quiet moment gives you room to notice what you have been carrying and to bring it to God.

A question to share: What would help you slow down and be present today?

02 · Love

Look out for each other.

“Just as I have loved you, you also love one another.”
John 13:34 · World English Bible, excerpt ↗

A shared meal, a listening ear, or making room for someone in a conversation can be a small way to practice love.

A question to share: How could you make someone feel included this weekend?

03 · Community

Bring your real questions.

You do not have to have a polished answer to begin a conversation about faith. Take time to listen, ask a question, or share something you have been thinking about.

For youth groups, keep it simple and welcoming. Your leaders can choose a short New Testament reading and leave room for everyone to join the discussion at their own pace.

A question to share: What is something you would like to understand better?

Together, in the open desert

Make the stay
your own.

Bring a purpose, and leave some room around it.

Your group plans its own worship, Bible study, meals, and activities. Start with one or two things you want to do together, then leave time for games, conversation, and rest.

Individuals, families, and friends are welcome too. Reserve available sites through Hipcamp and come prepared for dry camping, with your own water, food, and shelter.
