Benches gathered around a fire ring in the open desert

Christian retreats · Twentynine Palms

Camp Warner is a simple desert setting for churches, youth groups, friends, and people of faith to step away together.

Faith, friendship, and a fresh setting

Bring the people.
Make time for them.

A retreat does not have to be complicated to be meaningful.

Step away from the usual meeting room and gather in the desert. Share a meal, open the Bible, pray together, and give people time to talk and listen. Camp Warner offers a Christian-rooted setting for a stay shaped by your own leaders.

The camp provides tent sites, picnic tables, fire pits, a shared pergola, and outdoor games. Your group brings its food, water, camping equipment, and plans for worship, study, and fellowship.

There is no fixed retreat schedule to follow. You can make space for a thoughtful group conversation, a relaxed afternoon outdoors, or quiet time on your own.

Plan with your group

Different groups, a shared welcome

Find a rhythm
that fits your people.

For church groups

Bring your own leaders and a purpose for the time away. A Bible study, prayer circle, or shared meal can be the center of the day, with room around it for rest and conversation.

Before reserving, check how many sites your group needs and ask the host about the current arrangements for gathering together.

For youth groups

Give young people room to ask honest questions, enjoy a game together, and talk away from their everyday routine. Keep the plan approachable: a short reading, a real conversation, and plenty of time outdoors.

Leaders arrange supervision, meals, transport, and activities. Review the dry-camping needs and the shooting range with the host before bringing a youth group.

For families and friends

A few tents, food to share, and a little time together can be enough. Enjoy the shared grounds, relax at your campsite, and make room for the people you came with.

You do not have to book a retreat program. Choose available campsites through Hipcamp and plan the visit that suits your group.

The road gets quieter. The sky gets bigger. Give the group enough time to arrive before the gathering begins.

A moment to slow down

“Come away into a deserted place, and rest awhile.”
Mark 6:31 · World English Bible

You do not have to fill every moment. Make a little space to rest, listen, and spend time with God and one another.
